2010 Gateway Treasure Hunters Club | ||||
Our annual club cook out was held at Roy and Phyllis' house this year. We enjoyed a traditional Pig Roast with all the trimmings. Also included with the Roast Pig we had Rice, Summer Mixed Vegetables, Corn on the Cob, Pasta Salad, Green Salad, Rolls and Watermelon. There was also quite a nice variety of deserts brought by many of the members and we thank them all for contributing. The club supplied the soft drinks for this occasion. We have to thank Jeanne S. for getting the corn on the cob directly from the farm the morning of the cook out. Everyone was saying that this was absolutely the best part of the entire meal. The corn was sweet, tender and delicious. It was so sweet that you didn't even need butter and salt. Thanks Jeanne for making such a great choice.
